JDTP Taskable Product Ops

Align product facts before the next supplier decision.

Taskable Product Ops is for small importers, private-label brands, and manufacturers blocked by conflicting product information. We turn spreadsheets, PDFs, email, sample notes, and supplier files into quote-ready, sample-ready, sales-ready, and reorder-ready records.

1-SKU readiness snapshot: free Paid record package: from CAD 399 Scope, price, and due date confirmed in writing first

The first review uses public information or non-sensitive material you are authorized to share. Do not submit passwords, banking information, government identifiers, or regulated product secrets.

The Real Problem

Product information is not missing. It is living in too many versions.

When specs, packaging, quotes, samples, and sales pages change separately, every RFQ, listing update, and reorder starts by searching for the same answers again.

01 / Specs

Specs live in separate files

Dimensions are in a PDF, material details are in email, packaging is in chat, and the sales page says something else.

02 / Suppliers

Suppliers ask the same questions

MOQ, lead time, material, packaging, label, and test requirements never become a reusable RFQ.

03 / Samples

Sample versions are hard to trace

Teams lose track of which sample was approved, what changed, and what still needs checking.

04 / Reorders

Reorders restart the search

Old quotes, files, defects, and approvals are not carried into the next production decision.

Quote-readySuppliers can understand the request and quote it
Sample-readySample requirements, checks, and versions are clear
Sales-readySpecifications, images, FAQs, and channel fields agree
Reorder-readySuppliers, packaging, approved versions, and price history are traceable

Service Modules

Taskable Product Ops is not a PIM replacement. It is the operating layer that makes product information usable.

The first review uses public information or non-sensitive material you are authorized to share. Do not submit passwords, banking information, government identifiers, or regulated product secrets.

Product Master Record

Shared SKU source

  • SKU, specs, materials, packaging, files, suppliers, quotes, samples, and version history in one record.
  • Small findings and open questions stay attached to the relevant product.
Supplier-Ready RFQ Pack

Quote structure

  • A structured request suppliers can quote, answer, and compare.
  • Captures supplier questions, quote conditions, MOQ, lead time, and alternatives.
Sample Approval Pack

Version control

  • Track sample versions, checks, defects, changes, and approval status.
  • The next sample round starts with what changed and what still needs confirmation.
Channel-Ready Product Pack

Sales alignment

  • Align technical facts, descriptions, FAQs, image requirements, and channel fields.
  • Useful for Shopify, Amazon, B2B quote pages, and distributor sheets.
Monthly ProductOps

Ongoing maintenance

  • Maintain SKU, quote, packaging, label, sample, supplier, and version changes.
  • Monthly updates keep the operating record current and traceable.

Commercial Path

Fit check first, written scope second, payment before delivery, maintenance only when it earns its place.

Share one public product page or briefly describe the current blocker. We first confirm fit; if paid work makes sense, the next email sets the scope, price, due date, and payment link.

01

Free fit check

Use one public product page to identify the key gaps, current blocker, and whether paid work is worthwhile.

02

Written scope

The next email states inclusions, exclusions, final price, required inputs, and due date.

03

Payment before start

After you approve the scope, pay by Stripe payment link or invoice. Paid work does not start before payment.

04

Fixed-scope delivery

Receive the agreed master record, gap list, RFQ, or sample checklist, plus one revision.

05

Handoff or maintenance

Stop cleanly after handoff, or move into monthly maintenance or adjacent JDTP engineering and trade support when the record keeps changing.

Example Bundle

Each scattered input is replaced by a connected product record bundle.

When specs, packaging, quotes, samples, and sales pages change separately, every RFQ, listing update, and reorder starts by searching for the same answers again.

This is not a client result. It is a sanitized summary of JDTP applying the same Product Ops method to its own filament initiative, showing that the delivery structure has been used in practice.

Supplier Document Gate

Define what must be answered before quoting

Manufacturer identity, composition, TDS, SDS or written non-hazardous statement, origin, product specification, and packaging data sit in one gap list.

Batch and Release Record

Make samples, checks, and batches traceable

The pack covers PO, COA or outbound inspection, incoming checks, print verification, net content, retention evidence, batch release, and complaint records.

Packaging and Label Master

Connect SKU data to packaging versions

A packaging BOM, bilingual English/French label-data skeleton, and SKU, batch, and traceability fields are maintained in one reusable record.

Boundary: this is an internal JDTP operating example, not a client case, regulatory approval, or safety certification. Actual SKU documents and labels still require supplier and relevant professional confirmation.

Fit

Built for small product companies, not high-risk regulated work or bulk copy requests.

The first review uses public information or non-sensitive material you are authorized to share. Do not submit passwords, banking information, government identifiers, or regulated product secrets.

Good fit

  • Small product companies with roughly 10-200 SKUs
  • 2-10 suppliers and frequent supplier questions
  • Teams using spreadsheets, email, shared drives, chat, and PDFs
  • Quote, sample, listing, reorder, or supplier handoff pain
  • Willing to validate with one SKU first

Not a fit

  • Medical, drug, food-formula, or safety-critical product conclusions
  • Legal, customs, tax, certification, or product-safety decisions
  • Automatic publishing without human confirmation
  • Bulk marketing copy without product-fact cleanup
  • No authorized material or only sensitive files to share

Extra variants, rush work, supplier discovery, outreach, negotiation, and work beyond the monthly allowance are CAD 95 / hour or quoted separately.

FAQ

Scope, payment, and delivery are clear before work starts.

Share one public product page or briefly describe the current blocker. We first confirm fit; if paid work makes sense, the next email sets the scope, price, due date, and payment link.

Is Taskable Product Ops software?

No. The first version is a done-for-you product information and supplier operations service. It does not require a system migration.

What does the free Snapshot include?

A directional review of one SKU's information structure, priority gaps, and the best next step.

Can I pay directly?

We do not ask you to buy an unclear scope from the public form. After the free fit check, we confirm inclusions, exclusions, final price, and due date by email. Once you approve that scope, you receive a Stripe payment link or invoice. Paid work starts after payment.

What counts as one product family?

Products that share the same main use, core specifications, materials, and packaging structure count as one family. Paid packs include up to five size or colour variants; materially different structures, materials, or supplier workflows are scoped separately.

Can I start with only a public product page?

Yes. Public information is enough for the first fit check. If paid work makes sense, we will explain what else is needed.

Do the packs include supplier outreach or negotiation?

No. The Supplier-Ready Pack prepares the RFQ and compares up to three existing quotes you provide. Supplier discovery, follow-up, and negotiation are CAD 95 / hour or quoted separately.

Do you provide certification or regulatory decisions?

No. We organize product information and identify gaps, but legal, customs, tax, certification, and product-safety conclusions must be confirmed by the appropriate professional party.

Can this work with my current spreadsheets, ERP, PIM, or cloud drive?

Yes. Taskable is a done-for-you product information and supplier operations service that can work alongside your current tools. It usually does not require a system migration, and it is not presented as an automated PIM replacement.
